I confess to also liking it and am looking forward to getting my sweet a5s over to a MD for a good dribble tomorrow.

Still can't see how it could be worth over £100k cost to change from my wonderful V12VS, but nonetheless I look forward to having a poke around one.

When I was in Dick Lovett I did think how is the car 163k without options so probably near 180k. A massive jump over the last car which started about 130k but then they had a new F1 edition last Vantage in the show room with a sticker of 174k and the new car is better in every way apparently so then it sort of made sense.

My new Vantage V8S specified exactly as I wanted it to a high spec almost 10 years ago came in at £94K on the road. Not sure how that equates in real terms today? And it had proper knobs and buttons and good **** like that.

Same, I'm seeing these more and more, especially on Land Rover products. As a ******-deterrent I'm half-tempted to get one for the Vantage.

The EVO has said it is the best Aston in the last 10 years. High praise indeed. 4.5 out of 5. The ride quality on British roads lost them .5 and they said the loud exhaust noise would maybe get tiring after a while….What are they…pussies

Of the excellent line up of hardware in the MD yesterday, Andy, it was a Vanquish S that was the standout for me. Sure, the DB12 and Vantage were nice, but there's something about those Vanquish curves that make the hairs on the back of my neck stand on end.

Still, the DB12 Volante looked like a tremendous place to while away many miles in style, comfort and at a ferocious pace. The V12 Vantage volante likewise was pretty striking, but I still can't get over that clunky interior. I felt no pang of longing for anything newer as I climbed back in mine to head home.
