This is correct and a common issue. You have to reset the service due indicator under body computer and the oil life reset which is under engine. Anything newer than 2017 you need specific Maserati diagnostics to bypass the security box Maserati put in.

Pull the plug on each camcover of the variator solinoid and check for oil in the plug. Blast it with brake and clutch cleaner, clear the code and see if the code comes back. If so, swap the cam sensors on the rear of each camcover and check to see if the code changes. If not you could have a...

It will be one of the motor actuators but I have never seen one fail on these cars. Try another battery reset.
