    Cold Start Noise

As you have it out, stick it on the AC pump and the alternator, might as well but sounds like good news.

    Cold Start Noise

Timing does not slip, the very end bit of the guide snaps off and sits at the bottom of the timing case. The guide is a tenner but whilst you are in there with the chain off you may as well replace it and all the guides as a kit (£600)…so the costs start to ramp up. Then you could change the...

    Cold Start Noise

If you cant hear the noise then it’s probably not what I was thinking. If it’s just the sewing machine chatter that’s just the injectors

    Cold Start Noise

Ok, so I have had a good listen to this. First thing of note, your dipstick is not pushed all the way home. The sewing machine sound are the injectors and totally normal but if you listen on, you can hear like a washing machine on full spin type of sound which suggest chain or more so chain...

    Ghibli Diesel due a service

This is correct and a common issue. You have to reset the service due indicator under body computer and the oil life reset which is under engine. Anything newer than 2017 you need specific Maserati diagnostics to bypass the security box Maserati put in.

    HOW TO: Heater Matrix Repair

I would need to look at it but maybe a simpler way is to disconnect the two pipes in the engine bay where they go through the bulkhead? You could then rig up a return pipe. If you do remove the glove box there is a triangular mounting plate directly under the heater matrix, if it’s wet or...

    HOW TO: Heater Matrix Repair

They weep rather than gush so just take some 50/50 blue coolant/water mix…assuming you have blue and not pink. Did one last week, it’s pretty involved and you will need a medium 3 legged puller. Apart from that it’s all pain in the @ss bolts.

    Cold Start Noise

It could be a failing solenoid actuator valve or a broken chain guide. I would need to hear it.

    Rear windows won't open

Hi Seb, you press the > on the right hand of the steering wheel controls to flip between KM and MPH (or is it one of the other arrows....have a play, it will become clear). The windows...well, that is odd but it maybe wise to do another battery reset oh, and check you don't have the rear...
